The Hamel house is not an isolated endeavour. The museum stimulates and strengthens Dutch-Korean relations. The history of the seafarer Hamel offers many great opportunities on cultural, tourist and economic areas.  Hamel is the embodiment of courage, perseverance and enterprise.

The Hendrick Hamel Foundation is committed to deepening and widening Dutch-Korean relations.

• Korean Cultural Centre
The Korean Cultural Centre promotes Korean culture in the Netherlands and contributes to the development of an international network to promote the exchange of Korean culture.

• Friends of Hamel
'The friends of Hamel' help us with the realization of the Hamel house.
